If your message is to Rick himself, to avoid disappointment, here are some things that Rick is sadly not able to do, or we are not able to answer. These notes apply to everyone, whoever you are and any emails that relate to these notes will no longer receive a reply. Sorry, but too many people are ignoring them.

  1. We cannot arrange for tickets or backstage passes for shows - travel arrangements permitting, Rick always appears after shows to meet fans and sign autographs. This applies to everyone regardless of who you are! We can not provide contacts at YES management for these either.
  2. If your question relates to YES please contact either a YES website, or the YES management at 10th Street Entertainment. We are unable to pass messages to other members of YES and we cannot comment on their availability, plans or personal beliefs etc.
  3. We cannot provide details on potential shows not listed on the site - Rick's tours are arranged by promoters, whilst he would love to visit your home town, at the end of the day it's the choice of the promoter. Please do not email Rick asking when he's coming to your town or country. If we can tell you, it will be on the site already.
  4. Rick does not sign items via the post (he is delighted to sign things in person of course!) and cannot provide personal items signed such as photographs - basically if it's in person, then yes - otherwise no. Just to confirm, we do NOT send signed photographs. You can get signed CDs and DVDs from the online store.
  5. Please do not request Rick to send birthday cards, Christmas cards, wedding cards or personal messages to folk, however worthy. Also he does not play at family gatherings, weddings or other such events. Please respect the fact that Rick is a professional musician.
  6. Rick does not provide advice or recommendations on equipment.
  7. We cannot locate old CDs or sheet music etc. eBay is a great source as is Bookfinder.
  8. We cannot answer questions relating to tour dates or venue information. Everything we know at present is on the live page. If it's not there, we don't know.
  9. Everything we know about the availability of the early albums on CD, is in the FAQ.
  10. Following legal advice, Rick is no longer able to receive CDs and cassettes from bands, singers and solo musicians. This includes links to online music. He is not able to provide any professional advice or career advice.
  11. Sadly we have no translation facilities, so English only messages please
  12. Lastly, regarding Rick's decision to stop performing live at the end of 2006 - please respect that decision and the reasoning behind it. Rick will not be commenting any further at this time, so please, no emails begging him to change his mind. In fact, let me be quite clear - NO MORE EMAILS ABOUT, OR RELATED TO CUBA OR RICK'S DECISION.
