The great rock legend and Freemason, Rick Wakeman, combining his music with his love of trains, fountain pens and his family holidays as a child to Exmouth. The two tracks meet and form a set square representing his passion for Freemasonry (the Square and Set of Compasses being the single most identifiable symbol of Freemasonry). The sound waves are taken from his piece of music titled Journey/Recollection.
This original piece of artwork of Rick, created by artist Lindsey Bex aka LA Bex, will be auctioned at a special charity event The Chelsea Lodge Festival on Sunday 20th March, with the proceeds going to Lifelites, a charity to maintain specialist technologies for children and young people using hospice services throughout the British Isles.
And you can submit a bid in advance of the event if you would like to own this special piece, which will be signed by Rick.
All emailed bids will be carried forward to the event where live bidding will take place. If no live bid is more than your submitted bid, then you will win and be contacted by the organisers. We will announce the winner on the website after the event. Submit your bid by 19th March, with a contact phone number to greg@greglunnon.com with a subject "Playing On The Tracks Bid"

About the Artist:
Celebrity artist Lindsey Bex : Her pictures are predominantly in black and white applying the pointillism technique, using hundreds and thousands of dots (an average of 3000 dots per square inch, which increases as the dot/point decreases) executed with a rapidograph by hand, dot by dot. This is a very time consuming procedure and she admits she must be "dotty" to be doing it. Her aim is to achieve a photographic finish, with a slightly "surreal" content and with a "subtle twist of humour", as she puts it, in her celebrity art pictures.
